Long Valley Caldera Unrest

It seems that Seismic Swarms are becoming more frequent within the region of the Long Valley Caldera and may be in response to increased lithospheric stress along the North American and Pacific Plate Boundary on the West Coast of the United States. Also, the Autumnal Equinox increases the stress level by the injection of Solar Energetic Particles into the Earth’s Magnetic Equator along the sub-solar point.
